OliveAnkara Originals Launch
Founder Ifeoma Ubby created OliveAnkara (OA) with a vision of making African-inspired clothing accessible to women of all races. Born in Italy to Nigerian parents and with a doctorate in genetics, Ifeoma started the brand in 2017 as a side project while living in Singapore. Since then, OliveAnkara has grown into her life's passion, combining Ankara fabrics with unique designs that reflect her mixed cultural background. As a slow fashion brand, OA prioritizes quality and uniqueness, with a zero waste goal.
OA Originals, a new collection line by OliveAnkara, was launched in October 2021, and we were the agency tasked with managing all media relations efforts for the launch.
WHAT WE DID
Our scope of work included the following:
Development and execution of media relations and influencer engagement efforts
Development of press release and dissemination of press kit to a curated gold list of media and influencers in lifestyle and fashion
Creative story pitching
On-ground hosting at OliveAnkara's showroom with invited media and KOLs
Development of OA Ambassador Programme
Despite social curbs caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, our media activations eventually yielded impressive results:
29 pieces of coverage across digital, print and social media, including The Straits Times, Female, Tatler Asia, and VOGUE.
